Simple Design Methodology for R.C. Slabs by Hybrid Reinforcing of Steel Rebars and Uniaxial or Triaxial Geogrids

This paper’s objective is to provide simple design relations for the reinforced concrete slabs by a hybrid reinforcing of uniaxial or triaxial geogrids in addition steel rebars. We hope this can guidance further researchers estimate flexural bending capacity slabs, necessary grade geogrids, and count geogrids’ layers conducting first-principles analytical, quantitative analyses previously published slabs’ experimental data rebars geogrids. Throughout paper, were added moment at post-peak load based on assumption that tensile force (as slab’s reinforcement) equal its peak strength (obtained axial test). resulted variance frequently has range ±10% when compared with actual data.
